In the second quarter of 2022, the top five air travel apps on Android in Spain showcased diverse trends in downloads and user engagement. Here, we break down the performance of these apps, with data sourced from Sensor Tower.

Ryanair saw a fluctuating pattern in weekly downloads, starting at approximately 12.4K and peaking at around 15.3K in early May. The app maintained a steady number of weekly active users, beginning the quarter with about 87.2K and ending with around 95.5K.

Vueling - Cheap Flights experienced a gradual increase in weekly downloads, from about 6K at the start of the quarter to nearly 9K by the end of June. Weekly active users also showed a consistent upward trend, starting at roughly 31.3K and closing the quarter at around 38.7K.

Iberia had a modest increase in weekly downloads, starting at around 5.1K and reaching approximately 6.4K by the end of the quarter. The weekly active users grew from about 17.7K to nearly 20K over the same period.

Flightradar24 Flight Tracker displayed a significant rise in both weekly downloads and active users. Downloads surged from about 3.8K to over 5.4K, while active users increased from around 24.5K to approximately 34.1K. The app's weekly revenue also showed a notable increase, peaking at roughly $1.1K by the end of June.

AirEuropa had a stable performance in weekly downloads, ranging from about 2.4K to nearly 3K. The weekly active users remained steady as well, starting at around 5.9K and ending the quarter at approximately 6.7K.
